A pretty fun season, better than the last, and the final of 2022! Sidenote: I want to change the look of these anime reviews sometime.
Finally the conclusion of dragon quest dai no daibouken (2020). At the time of writing, it’s been a while since the conclusion, so I can’t remember much details of the ending, but I do recall it being good. I’m a big fan of Popp. Was a fun experience these past few years.
I probably go too excited for this, initially, in my Fall 2022 impressions, but it was pretty solid, nonetheless. The plot twist was a bit underwhelming, only because I could sense it from a mile away, but otherwise, it was a fun show.
Akihabara maid cafes in the 90s meets mafia. This was bizarre and fun, reminded me of zombieland saga in some ways.
This is still airing, at the time of writing, but it has been pretty chill. Glad this type of almost painful slice of life is coming back, or at least we have it in cool doji danshi. If that’s your thing, or you just need background noise, cool doji danshi is good for that. Otherwise, has been a bit underwhelming.
Wow. I didn’t expect to enjoy this *that* much, this was better than the first season, in my opinion. I really like the characters and it’s been fun being introduced to uzaki’s family, and watching her and Sakurai’s romance bloom, albeit soon. Really good.
What can be said? It’s pop team epic. Although SPOILER!!! The final fantasy references were unexpected, yet welcomed.
Not the best anime of all-time, as the casuals were anticipated, yet I’m impressed with it, nonetheless. Mappa did a really good job, as usual, and I had fun with the characters, although I’m not very smitten with them ,well, maybe Kobeni… she is cute… The show seems kinda slow so far, which is fine, but I’d like to see where it’s going.
Nice. It’s digi charat. I haven’t seen any english sub versions of this floating around, which doesn’t hinder me, but it’s made me think about the state of fansub/fantranslating as of late. I won’t get into it here, but I intend to make an article on the subject, so look out for that. Anyways yay digi charat, it’s still airing at the time of writing, but it’s been good so far, not my favourite digi charat, though, I will say.
Do it yua serufu. Yua Serufu is the protagonist’s name. Follows the story of a highschool diy club, and you guessed it, has made construction tools cool, wait what? *insert image of power tools being sold with a promotion for thee do it yourself anime (will find this image soon)* It was ok, I really liked the art style.
