Welcome to my gintama page, dedicated to my good friend, Jake. Eventually when I finish this page, it might be cool, might not be, who knows. Gintama is this cool funny show that I like to watch sometimes, starring Gintoki of odd-jobs gin, with his pals Kagura and Shinpachi. Gintoki is a guy in his 20s who likes sweets (chocolate sundaes, strawberry milk) and shonen jump, to list a few things. He's a samurai, during a time where samurai are no longer needed, and because of this often does mundane things and lazes around. The story takes place in a Japan where Edo is still the capital and there's samurai, there's also aliens. The show often spoofs other shonen jump titles, and other things, and doesn't take itself too seriously, which is the best part of the show, in my opinion. The show follows the often ridculous adventures of Gintoki, Kagura, and Shinpachi, while at the same time slice-of-life elements remain.
