Seasonal Watching: An Update

Hello all, as 2024 is coming to a close, I have some thoughts on my future approach to watching anime seasonally. Some background: I've been watching anime seasonally since around 2012/2013, pretty consistently, though taking a break sometime after the second season of Dagashi Kashi aired until 2020. This years seasons have been overwhelmingly underwhelming. Incredibly weak selection of slop shows have released and thus, going forward, I will be only finishing shows if they are good, if they don't make the cut after episode 3, I will not be continuing watching them. I am not sure if I'll finish any of the shows I've started this season, I have been busy, but they have also been incredibly lackluster and forgettable. Is it over for anime? No, but it needs to get its shit together soon. This season, I have heard that Tsumashou is good, though I have only heard it relayed to me by my roommate, but I trust her judgement. Anyways, expect this to change the amount of anime I review each season, but reviews will keep going, perhaps I'll review the ones I dropped, but that doesn't feel fair, maybe without a rating... This next year, since watching seasonally has been so disappointing, I am going to become the first person to make it through the plan to watch list. Maybe it'll be nice to watch good things. Anyways, short update end ### Lol.
