Okay, reviews
An anime for the anime/VN otaku. What if you got a really good deal on some cornerstone bishoujo games, still in original boxes, and when you opened them you time travelled back to the exact date they were released? 16 bit sensation aims to answer this curiosity, along with a fun story. I enjoyed the art and the premise, as well as the large amount of cameos from other familiar VN/anime entries (the show features lycoris recoil, madoka magica, key soft, dokyuusei, etc.)
Well, I supposed I’ll watch the yuribait moe anime of the season. Unbeknownst to the premise before hand, I witnessed model rocketry moe. As someone who’s made quite a few model rockets, launched them, been to club launches, etc. It was shocking to see this all in an anime.
I don’t really like JJK…. Mappa had some good moments here though.
I like when the gyaru trope is investigated, here its in the form of a gyaru who *is* easy, who slowly seems to learn she can have value in a romantic relationship that isn’t her body. Good enough show.
The premise of this is fun enough, the show is meh, and I can see that it might devolve in the way golden boy became fetish material only. Of course, the show is already rife with fetish, currently in a bearable way, but how can we sustain this up until 100? I hope the entirety of the story gets adapted to anime, as I don’t want to read the manga that bad.
Reminded me of Angels of Death. Chill show. I liked the voice of the MC.
